Values Orientation Workshop 2016
Geared towards effectiveness and productivity, the North Luzon Philippines State College (NLPSC), through the Human Resource Management Office, conducted its Values Orientation Workshop (VOW) last July 4 to 5, 2016 at Francisca Francisco's Place, Paypayad, Candon City.
The workshop was participated by all (54) Regular Faculty and staff of NLPSC. The workshop consisted of five (5) modules: personhood (pagkatao), being a Filipino citizen (pagka-Filipino), consciousness of the environment (pagka-kalikasan), being a civil servant (pagka-tagapaglingkod) and integration.
The lectures and activities were facilitated by the Learning Service Providers (LSP) from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) namely: Mr. Hedy Jose B. Lardizabal, Director III-CSCRO1, and Mrs. Cecilia R. Bareng, OIC Director II-CSCRO1 Ilocos Sur Field Office.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 12 of Republic Act No. 6713, otherwise known as the "Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees," VOW is adopted as a continuing intervention program by the CSC designed to inculcate appropriate norms ad conduct becoming of government employees.
