To ensure that the education offered by the institution meets the acceptable levels of standard, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc. conducted an assessment in the different areas of the five programs of North Luzon Philippines State College (NLPSC). The five programs that underwent through Level II accreditation were the following: Bachelor of Secondary Education; Bachelor of Elementary Education; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Bachelor of Science in Computer Science; and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

NLPSC undergoes Level II Accreditation


To ensure that the education offered by the institution meets the acceptable levels of standard, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Inc. conducted an assessment in the different areas of the five programs of North Luzon Philippines State College (NLPSC). The five programs that underwent through Level II accreditation were the following: Bachelor of Secondary Education; Bachelor of Elementary Education; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Bachelor of Science in Computer Science; and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

On August 9, 2017, Dr. Elizabeth M. Gacusana, President of NLPSC, welcomed the accreditors with her commitment to uphold the standards of quality education towards local, regional and national development. Accreditation, to her, is a process of compliance in the attainment of a quality and excellent public engagement in the education sector.

Dr. Ronnie N. Parica, who headed the delegation of accreditors, introduced his team as follows: Dr. Reermeline B. Plamo from Nueva Viscaya State University; Dr. Inalyn V. Inarda from University of Rizal System; Prof. Joel M. Bawica and Prof. Juanita L. Juanillas from Laguna State Polytechnic University; Dr. Eriberto A. Casiño, Dr. Chona V. Cayabat and Prof. Shiela M. Manzanilla from Southern Luzon State University; Prof. Marian Loren B. Valera and Dr. Mary Joan T. Guzman from Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology; Dr. Priscila C. Pangilinan and Prof. Garlie G. Gonzales from Philippine State College of Aeronautics; Prof. Marilou P. Pascual from Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology; Dr. Marita R. Parobrob from Bulacan State University; and Prof. Mardelyn B. Barrogo from Aurora State College of Technology.

For almost three days, the accreditors did a rigorous review and assessment of all the documents presented by the different programs. They checked the documents and did an ocular assessment of all the facilities of the college.

On August 11, 2017, the deans of the three colleges namely Dr. Jaime G. Raras of College of Teacher Education, Mrs. Maribel C. Ibañez of College of Arts and Sciences and Mrs. Nora H. Soliven of College of Business Education expressed their statements of commitment after the accreditors presented some of their findings and recommendations. Certificates and tokens were awarded to the members of the accreditation team afterwards.
