Third week of July marks the celebration of National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) in the Philippines through proclamation No. 169 of 1993, led by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). This aims to highlight the significant contributions of Science and Technology to national development.
DOST will hold the 2019 NSTW from July 17-21, 2019 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. This year's celebration with the theme, "Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development" showcase the latest innovations in technologies, products, and research that can help achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Also, scientific meetings, technical and investment forums, technology demonstrations, and technical tours are lined up as part of this year's NSTW.
This event is open to the public and free admission.
